Edit a live redirect

Go to URL redirects

From the Redirect Pro app, click URL redirects in the navigation menu.

Switch to the Live redirects tab

Click the Live redirects tab to view your live redirects.

Select the live redirect

Click the live redirect you want to edit.

Update the details

Modify the Redirect from or Redirect to fields as needed.

Save your changes

Click Save to apply the updated live redirect.

What happens after editing

  • Changes take effect immediately
  • Visitors to the updated “Redirect from” URL are sent to the new destination
  • If you changed the “Redirect from” URL, visitors to the old source URL will no longer be redirected

Delete live redirects

Delete a single live redirect

Go to URL redirects

From the Redirect Pro app, click URL redirects in the navigation menu.

Switch to the Live redirects tab

Click the Live redirects tab to view your live redirects.

Select the live redirect

Click the live redirect you want to delete.

Delete the live redirect

Click the Delete button and confirm the deletion.

Delete multiple live redirects

Go to URL Redirects

From the Redirect Pro app, click URL Redirects in the navigation menu.

Switch to the Live redirects tab

Click the Live redirects tab to view your live redirects.

Select live redirects

Use the checkboxes to select the live redirects you want to delete.

Delete selected

Click the Delete button that appears and confirm the bulk deletion.
Deletion is permanent. Deleted live redirects cannot be recovered. Visitors to the source URL will no longer be redirected and will see the original page as normal.

What happens after deleting

  • The live redirect stops working immediately
  • Visitors to the source URL will see the original active page as normal
  • The deletion does not affect the source or destination pages themselves

Tips for managing live redirects

After making changes, visit the “Redirect from” URL in an incognito browser window to verify the redirect works correctly.
If you later remove or unpublish the page that had a live redirect, delete the live redirect and create a 301 redirect instead. This gives you SEO benefits and unlimited visits.
